Clerk of Court Tifani Thomas

I was elected to the office of Morehouse Parish Clerk of Court in 2019. I began my career in the Clerk of Court's office in 2004 and served in the mortgage and conveyance department, the criminal department and in elections prior to my election. My first term as Clerk of Court started on July 1, 2020. I am a life-long resident of Morehouse Parish, an alumni of Bastrop High School "Class of 1999" and have served on many community and ongoing projects in the parish.  Since becoming clerk, I have overseen moving the office forward to modernizing all software, E-Recording, E-Filing, digitizing mortgage, conveyance and criminal records for online. I am committed to providing the citizens of Morehouse Parish with integrity and excellence in a cost-efficient manner. I take pride in the preservation and management of records and providing access to legal documents filed in our office. Exceptional customer service is very important to the office, and we strive to provide this service with proficient and courtesy to our community.
