I was elected to the office of Morehouse Parish Clerk of Court in 2019. I began my career in the Clerk of Court's office in 2004 and served in the mortgage and conveyance department, the criminal department and in elections prior to my election. I am committed to providing the citizens of Morehouse Parish with a responsive, efficient and easy to access office. I take pride in the preservation and management of records and providing access to legal documents filed in our office. Exceptional customer service is very important to the office and we strive to provide this service with proficient and courtesy to our customers. As your Clerk, I am committed to always having an open door policy, no matter how small or big your concern is. This is your office and we are here to serve you. I will continue to expand the services and resources available to the public. Some of these offerings now include: LACRAA portal which provides secure remote access by Internet users to records maintained by the participating parishes, creating a website and Facebook page for increased communication with the public. I will continue for the future to expand technology with eRecording and online records access. I am a life-long resident of Morehouse Parish, an alumni of Bastrop High School "Class of 1999" and have served on many community and ongoing projects in the parish. My husband and I, Chad, have three children: Victoria and Layton Rainbolt and Michaela Thomas where we are all members of Bonne Idee Assembly of God Church in Mer Rouge.
